Preview Summary: Braeda Harthgraen has already been Bound and delivered to the dragons as an offering. Locked inside an unfamiliar room, she can do little but wait for death and wonder whether her father will ever know what happened to her. But the dragon who eventually comes for her acts nothing like she expects. He gives her water, apologizes for her treatment, and even offers her one final wish. Braeda asks for only one thing: the chance to say goodbye to her father. That one request changes everything.
